Running Pain free with r.m.h sports therapy

Plantar Fasciitis Hinckley - Running Massage Hinckley - Knee injury Hinckley - Runners knee Hinckley

With running being one of the largest participation sports in the UK, it’s not a huge surprise that running injuries are common.

There’s nothing better than the freedom of pulling on your trainers after a long, hard day, to go out, run and unwind.  But when you’re no longer able to run all your troubles away, I understand it can leave you feeling frustrated and start to affect the quality of your life.

At R.M.H Sports Therapy I encompass the best of tried and tested Sports Therapy, Sports Massage, Joint Mobilisation and Muscle Activation – a new and amazingly powerful treatment which has staggering, immediate effects.

You’ll be treated by an experienced and skilled therapist who has a deep understanding of the mechanics of running and knows what is required to help you get back on track.  I will identify what is causing your problems, ensuring that no other issues are exacerbated and will soon give you the green light to get your running shoes back on, sometimes after just one session.

As your body gets used to building up the mileage I will be on hand to ensure you have a long lasting and positive recovery.  Many people even end up running faster as a result of my treatment: read this recent article from Runner’s World for more details on Muscular Activation.

Below are the most common running injuries I see and help people with here at R.M.H Sports Therapy:

  • Knee pain – patella femoral pain, fat pad impingement, patella tendinopathy
  • Runner’s knee / Tight IT bands
  • Knee ligament damage
  • Knee cartilage damage
  • Sprained / Tight ankles
  • Pain in and around the glutes
  • Hamstring tightness / strain
  • Calf tightness / strain
  • Shin splints
  • Piriformis tightness
  • Tense / Painful shoulders whilst running
  • Tight / Painful hip flexors
  • Nerve symptoms in leg

At R.M.H Sports Therapy my aim is to help people recover from their injuries and progress with their life.
